Door-bell rang!
“Yes or No? It could be Mom at the door.” Kavya was in no mood to let this opportunity go.
“Yes, yes, yes” we all finally had no other option.
“You?” Kavya said after opening the door.
We shuffled to find out the reason for Kavya’s surprised remark.

It was Rashi standing at the door. I don’t know why Kavya acts like an inane. She kept ogling at her. Finally, Raghu acted in a less nerdy manner and asked Rashi to come in. I must commend Raghu for this, as he is usually busy with his gadgets and not interested in such “welcoming-the guest” thing. Rashi comes in with a dejected look which was still inexplicable.

“Why do they have to do this all the time?” Rashi said with a sense of resentment in her voice, which added more to my curiosity.

I was almost going to ask her,” Who?”...but my less nerdy part of grey cells held me back from taking any further step towards it. However, I knew that Kavya would finally discuss it with us when Rashi spills out the beans to her.

“So, what is the matter Rashi?” I was happy that Kavya is also unaware of at least some general facts. This happiness did not last for much longer time.

Kavya asked,”Are they still ...?”... Rashi nods her head to tease us further.

I tried to google, I failed...I searched the gogulopedia, once again it didn’t yield any result. However, they opened up after Rashi broke into sob.

“Why my mother cannot be with my father? Why do they have to always fight? Why are they seeking divorce?... I’m the only person in the world who has everything the opposite her wishes. I always feel lonely at my home, as I don’t have a brother or a sister to be with. Who says that being the only child is a gift and it’s a pampered life? It’s all bullshit!” Rashi spoke with such repentous that it silenced everyone including Kavya. That was a rare sight. I’d a strong urge to click her dumbfounded like that so as to tease her later but it was an appalling thought. How could I do that? There’s a girl who is unhappy about her life and parents and I’m planning pranks. This was me “Google...oops Gogul” who could only think of such things at sensitive moments like this. Kavya is an expert in dealing such situations where she requires to control her emotions and comfort and support the person who really needs it.

Kavya was sitting beside Rashi. Then, there was a girl moment to be captured. They both hugged each other like lost sisters. This is very common with girls. Its beauty lies in its sweetness and simplicity. It is very sublime and pure. I hope it could have been same with a boy and girl hugging each other but forget that.

Kavya started to rub her back with her hands so as to make her comfortable and to facilitate her in her cathartic act. Yes, sometimes people need to cry. Everyone needs to cry at some point of the time or the other. It really helps. At the moment, it’s humiliating but after that the mood changes, you feel lighter. Do cry sometimes!

Well, this piece of cry fact is not my knowledge to you but I just retrieved it from my Gogulopedia which had an article on “Benefits of Crying-by Kavya.”

The door bell rang again...and no prize for guessing that the person was Mehul’s mother. She looked very tired and exhausted so ordered a glass of water to Mehul. She also noticed Rashi’s pale face.

“Hello Rashi beta! What’s the matter with you?”

“Nothing much Aunty...everything’s fine, perfect and smooth.” Rashi replied and believe me it is never this way when you use three or more adjectives to answer this type of question. Again this was an article from Gogulopedia by.....have a guess??? Yes Kavya!!!

“Mummy! Your water” Mehul gave the cold glass of water to her mother. Delhi’s summer is really awful, it makes you crazy. If you don’t get a glass of cold water at the right time it could lead you to commit anything... anything means anything which has no boundaries.

After drinking that divine drink, aunty regained her senses and asked Rashi the same question yet again. This time the answer was certainly different. These girls!!!

She started crying like a child. After repeated enquiry she gave the complete information to aunty.

As mother as daughter, both are great agony aunts. She tackled Rashi very elegantly. This is the reason I consider aunty like my mother. She is really an indispensable part of my life.

Rashi was finally smiling for the first time today. I don’t know why but I felt nicer after observing Rashi’s smiling lips. I have a message to all the parents: “please don’t fight among yourselves; it leaves a very wrong impression in your child’s memory”... and yes of course if your daughter is as beautiful as Rashi don’t ever try to hurt her or lose her smile.

“Kavya! Cook the special dish I’ve taught you for Rashi” -Kavya’s mother.

“Me?” -Kavya

“Yes dear! You... now you’ll be tested today...Rashi is the judge and if you fail it’ll cost you something.....” -Aunty speaks smartly

“What?” -Kavya

“Bad dish= no school picnic” Aunty made me happy after this line... I just love her for this.

Finally, Rashi starts giggling...
